2023 Brings New Horrors

Hello faithful downloaders!

I've been very happy to see that people are actually playing my little game enough to leave feedback, and as a result I spent some time overhauling the gamebook to make things... more challenging.

Major updates include altering Hunting to be more dangerous to the crew, introducing official guidance on long term character injury, and historical flavour in the form of asking my dad for ideas about weapons from the mid-19th century. The Dragon is a little anachronistic, but I couldn't resist.

Additionally, Scurvy may now take hold more easily and I've added some guidance about using hunted meat to combat it. Avoid bear livers though. It's a bad idea. 

If you play with the updated rules please leave feedback! I can't playtest due to none of my timezone friends loving Arctic tragedy as much as I do. Accessible versions are also available on the main page.
